The Radisson Blu Hotel is a place I recommend and I expected breakfast to be just as good, well it was on the first day, but not on the second... In the main hotel restaurant, breakfast is served every morning from 06:30am till 10:30am. A large buffet awaits, filled with lots of choices, along with live stations offering waffles and eggs.
What happened at the Radisson Blu was strange. I had two different experiences at breakfast on two consective days. The first morning was great, handled by professionals who prepared a delicious waffle with chocolate and some exquisite eggs. But on the second morning, a kid was frying the eggs and it was obvious that it was his first time doing so... and another man, who looked like a grumpy pharmacist, didn't know anything about waffles. He served me some inedible and uncooked waffles that don't even look good.

At the hotel, the waiters and hostesses are almost all from the Philippines. With a smile on their faces, they welcome you and take care of you during all of your stay. That's the main difference between this hotel and all the ones I've already tried in Jordan. "Good morning sir, can I have your room number please?" before choosing a table to your liking.
I enjoyed the cheese choices, the croissant quality, the freshness of the bread, the wide choices on the menu as well as the fruits and cereals. On the first morning, my waffles were really excellent. The chef, seeing me taking pictures, made sure to give me a mouthwatering plate to have a good picture that was posted immediately on the net. He also took the time to give me an exquisite egg plate with melting cheese: he's clearly a professional.
On the second day... What a mess. The kid doing the eggs was mixing them in an uneven way, created an unappetizing omelet in a super hot pan that smelled of burnt oil. After finishing, he added cheese which didn't melt. I approached him and asked clearly: I need an omelet with melting cheese and pork ham... It seemed to him like if I was asking for the moon. He didn't understand how ham can be added to eggs and how cheese can be added in the pan. He really ruined my day; breakfast for me is sacred.
The huge pharmacist handling the waffles seemed rude with an attitude. He clearly didn't know a thing about food. Uncooked and unappetizing waffles that were thrown away because we couldn’t eat them.
I usually don't go into these details in my reviews, but I really loved the hotel and think that the management needs to know what's happening on ground. Dinner was really bad and so was the second breakfast. The knowhow is there, the will is there but the staff, not all of them are enthusiastic about their jobs... It takes one person to leave a black mark on your whole. Training should be planned soon.
