This breakfast deserves a review of its own because of the choices and quality of ingredients. I remember the unique breakfast at The Kempinski Brugge, and today, another Kempinski impressed me by its morning experience.
Three dining rooms and a big buffet; a hot selection, endless choices of nuts and jams, bread, fruits, waffles, cold cuts and cheeses among many other choices.
Walk the buffet from the entrance to your table:
- Aged cheeses coupole.
- Yellow cheeses cut in slices and local cheeses.
- A wide range of Cold cuts
- Six choices of hot dishes
- Four baskets of bread and two baskets of croissants
- Five choices of juices
- A big tea selection
- Champagnes
- Nuts, seeds, and cereals
- Jams
- Several choices of milk
- Creams and spreads
- A choice of vegetables and legumes for your salad
- Smoked salmon
- Diced fruits
- Butter
Other than the menu, you can order hot dishes prepared a-la-minute in the kitchen. Eggs Benedict, eggs Florentine and pancakes.
One poached egg laid on a bed of English muffin and covered with sauce hollandaise. One pancake, a bit chewy though, with a side of apple compote.
I enjoyed my time and was happy to have booked my stay with breakfast.
