Filming an episode of Mechwar in Halat, I spotted a new diner - with a colorful signboard. I was kind of amazed to see a real American diner like this one in this part of Lebanon. Facing Halat sur Mer, Anthony’s Diner serves a wide selection of diner inspired specialities, which in my opinion, compete with the big names in town.
I didn't come here for a full review.... But I couldn't help myself from taking photos of the amazing dishes prepared with passion you can feel in every bite. Why eat the same food at other famous brands when you can enjoy a drive to Halat and enjoy the same tasty bites for less?
The bread used is from Sophie de France, the meat is juicy and tasty, the appetizers are fresh and not oily, the fries great and moreish... and most importantly, the ambiance is welcoming.
