The popular P.F. Chang’s China Bistro restaurant opened its first location in LebanonatABCAchrafieh (Level 3), marking the chain’s sixth location in the Middle East.

“The combination of authentic Chinese atmosphere with the well-known Lebanese hospitality is what made this night such a big success and is sure to make the restaurant a great hit in Lebanon” saidPhilipChiang, co-founder of P.F. Chang’s. Chang visited Lebanon on April 24, 2012 to inaugurate the first P.F. Chang’s in the country. “We are truly happy to be here in Lebanon. This country represents an important market for us and Beirut is such a happening place and probably one of the most diverse cities of the Middle East mix that we really wanted to be here” commented Chang. P.F. Chang’s has more than 200 restaurants in the United States and over 18 internationally, and serves Asian cuisine from 5 regions of China (Mongolian,Sichuan, Beijing, ShanghaiandHunan) along with unique desserts, signature drinks while also delivering impeccable service. The restaurant caters to different dietary and cultural needs, offering also a vast selection of gluten free and vegetarian dishes.

“Each restaurant has its own scratch kitchen with a Chef that can tailor menus to each country, with its own unique palate. For example some countries like spicier food and we certainly have many items to satisfy this craving. Some other regions have religious restrictions and we adjust our dishes to fit these needs” commented Philip Chiang, co-founder of P. F. Chang’s. “Furthermore every restaurant has servers also known as meal creators who are trained to help diners gain a memorable dining experience by offering personalized service”.

P.F. Chang’s was first opened in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1993. Philip Chiang was running two other successful restaurants in Beverly Hills when fellow restaurateur Paul Fleming approached him with an idea. Together, they opened the first restaurant and since then, the restaurant has grown aggressively becoming the “Most Popular Full-Service Restaurant Chain in America” according to the Zagat survey, a prominent curator of restaurant reviews.
